AYESCOD
Action for Youth Empowerment and Sustainable Community Development is a Community Based Organization based in Bunyoro Region.
Its focus is to empower Youth and local communities to have holistic development: (socially, economically, morally, technologically among others).
Apparently AYESCOD is handling a project Business Entrepreneurial Skill and Wash , where by the organization is training the Youth and local communities on how to use and engage in Business Skills and Wash(Water ,Sanitation and Hygiene)

empower young people through skills acquiring programs to realize their full

OBJECTIVES
To reduce vulnerability and dependency among the
young people by 20% in rural community of our project catchments
(b) To mobilize and sensitize over 12,000 Youths in Albertine Region
(c) To
advocate and mainstream vocational training skills with other trainings to the
youth communities to
enable them manage their own development
(d) To reduce the problem of unemployment by 10% of the youths.
(e) To
provide 40% of Counseling and Guidance services to youths on psycho-social and
economic issues.
(f) To promote sustainable Utilization
of the resources at grass root level.
(g) To protect and conserve the
environment in a manner that is sustainable and developmental to the local
communities.
(h) To Improve clean water
accessibility to poor communities, by sinking boreholes and shallow wells, in
direr areas. This will be to facilitate communities to access good drinking
water fit for human consumption particularly those living in water inadequate
places. To assist in the building of water reservoirs, underground tanks and
dams to capture rain water for use in dry season.
